Fulfillment & Refund Policy

How paid Rockxy licenses are delivered, how refunds work, and how to reach us if something is wrong with your order.

The short version

  • License keys are delivered by email within a few minutes of a successful purchase.
  • You can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase for any reason.
  • Lemon Squeezy is our Merchant of Record. They process payments, collect and remit taxes, and issue receipts on our behalf.
  • Email rockxyapp@gmail.com if you need help. Try the open-source core first — it may already do what you need.

1. Delivery of paid licenses

Rockxy sells access to Pro and Enterprise features as digital licenses. After a successful checkout, Lemon Squeezy sends two emails to the address you provided:

  • A receipt — the tax invoice for your purchase, including any VAT/GST/sales tax Lemon Squeezy collected on our behalf.
  • A license key — the activation key you enter in the Rockxy app to unlock Paid Features for the plan you bought.

Delivery is typically instant. If you have not received both emails within 30 minutes, check your spam folder, then email rockxyapp@gmail.com with the email address used at checkout and the approximate purchase time. We will re-send the key. The Rockxy open-source core itself is separate and does not require delivery — it is freely available on GitHub.

2. Refund window

You may request a full refund of any Rockxy paid license within 14 days of the purchase date, for any reason. If the 14th day falls on a weekend or public holiday, the next business day still qualifies. This is in addition to any statutory right of withdrawal you may have under your local consumer law (for example, the 14-day EU/UK right of withdrawal for digital goods), and does not waive or replace those rights.

Refund requests made after the 14-day window are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We grant them for clear technical defects that make the Licensed Application unusable for you and that we are unable to resolve, and for accidental duplicate purchases. Non-use alone is not a reason to refund an expired order.

3. How to request a refund

Send an email to rockxyapp@gmail.com with:

  1. The email address you used at checkout
  2. The Lemon Squeezy order ID (shown on your receipt)
  3. The approximate date of purchase
  4. Optionally, a short note about what went wrong — this helps us fix it for everyone

We respond within 2 business days. Once approved, Lemon Squeezy reverses the charge to the original payment method. Receipt of funds typically takes 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card network; international transactions may take longer. After a refund is issued, your license key is deactivated and Paid Features stop working — the open-source core continues to work normally.

4. Who bills you: Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record

Lemon Squeezy, Inc. is the Merchant of Record for all Rockxy paid licenses. "Lemon Squeezy*Rockxy" or a similar descriptor may appear on your card or bank statement. As Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy:

  • Processes your payment and issues the receipt
  • Calculates, collects, and remits VAT, GST, and sales tax as required by the jurisdiction in which you are located
  • Complies with PCI-DSS for card data handling; Rockxy never sees your full card number
  • Handles chargebacks and disputes raised with your bank or card network

Lemon Squeezy's own terms and privacy policy apply to the payment flow, in addition to ours. Our Privacy Policy explains what payment data reaches Rockxy (order ID, license key, and the email address you gave) and what does not (full card data).

5. Taxes, VAT, and receipts

Prices shown on the pricing page are exclusive of tax. At checkout, Lemon Squeezy calculates any applicable VAT, GST, or sales tax based on your billing address and adds it to the total. If you are a business with a valid tax ID (for example, an EU VAT number), enter it at checkout — Lemon Squeezy applies the reverse charge where the law allows. Your receipt is the official tax invoice. You can re-request it from Lemon Squeezy at any time using the link in the original email.

6. Perpetual licenses and update renewals

Founding Pro plans are one-time perpetual licenses, not subscriptions. They do not auto-renew and there is no recurring charge. Each founding license includes one (1) year of updates and support from purchase; after that window ends, the app continues to run in its last entitled version within the device limit of your plan. Renewal is optional if you want another year of updates and support. Founding plans are priced at the rate disclosed at your time of purchase; Rockxy may close founding pricing for new customers at any time, but existing founding license holders retain the terms they purchased under.

7. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is wrong, contact us first — we are a small team and nearly every dispute is faster to resolve through email than through a chargeback. A chargeback opened before you have contacted us will result in the license key being deactivated pending resolution. Chargebacks for reasons unrelated to the product (for example, "I forgot I bought this") may be disputed with the card network, and repeated abuse may result in permanent suspension of future sales to the same account.

8. Lost, stolen, or reassigned license keys

If you lose your license key, email rockxyapp@gmail.com from the address you purchased under and we will re-send it. If your key is being used without your permission (for example, leaked publicly), email us and we will rotate the key. We do not reassign keys to a different email address without verifying ownership of both addresses, to prevent account takeover.

9. What is not refundable

  • Purchases outside the 14-day window where no technical defect applies
  • Purchases made through a reseller, marketplace, or affiliate — contact the reseller directly; their own refund terms apply
  • Enterprise purchases governed by a separate signed agreement that specifies different refund terms
  • Licenses terminated under the EULA for breach of its terms
