Quick start

  1. 1. Install the signed build.

    The public download will appear on the Download page at launch.

  2. 2. Approve the Network Extension.

    Open System Settings when prompted and allow Shieldxy to filter network traffic.

  3. 3. Start protection.

    Use the menu-bar control, then reproduce the connection you want to inspect.

Read a connection

Start with the app and bundle ID. Confirm the destination, country, connection state, sent and received bytes, then decide whether the behavior matches the task you initiated.

Rules and history

Use Rules for repeat decisions and History to reconstruct what connected during a time window. Keep automatic handling for Apple system binaries explicit in Settings.

Build a support-ready finding

Record the app name, bundle ID, destination, state, byte counts, and exact time window. Remove tokens or private hostnames before sharing.
